Many people desire to become “green” these days and even some businesses. But what determines “green”? Businesses seek what is called LEED certification, or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design. It was developed by the U.S. Green Building Council, which I have had the chance to tour in Washington D.C. The building is very environmentally friendly from censored lights to controlled entering sunlight based on the radiation of the sun. They recycle and reuse their energy resources, which is how we can consume our resources more efficiently.
